    Bob,

You mention during the episode that you and your family are wearing N95 masks, which are the only masks that actually offer any efficacy against respiratory viruses. What I’m wondering is, where are you getting these things? I can only find tiny amounts of them, and they all cost at least $100 per mask. Have you read the instructions that come with these masks? They cannot be reused over and over again. Furthermore, do you still have a beard? The instructions clearly state that the masks lose their effectiveness if the wearer has facial hair.

History show us that family ownership of resources does not generally lead to stability. The long lived assets are those run by ‘non-profit’ institutions like universities and religious foundations. It is interesting to consider why that is the case.

So I think Hoppe is wrong to suggest that monarchy is a stable form of management for a territory.
