You guys neglected to mention the main elephant in the room behind such commie schemes – the gun in the room, that forces us to use those shitcoins. Getting lost in the weeds, about whether the value of that shitcoin will go up or down, or whether people will become lethargic, obfuscates the only thing that matters – brutally physically hurting innocent people who simply disagree.
Also, in one of those thought experiments that Adam proposed, if aliens shipped valuable resources to our planet (maybe gold), it’s not obvious that it would be a boon … it would be very bad if it ended up in the enemy’s hands, for example. I think Bob was assuming that the value would magically get distributed evenly.
