Ep. 22 Jordan Page Talks and Sings About the Persecution of Schaeffer Cox

Liberty musician Jordan Page discusses the plight of Schaeffer Cox, an Alaska liberty activist and militia leader who is being held by the federal authorities in a high-security prison. There were many irregularities in the case, with the original verdict having been vacated and the case sent to a lower court for re-sentencing. Cox’s supporters argue that he was targeted for his political views.

Astounding what goes on that no one knows about. I will try to draw people’s attention to this but my general feeling is the type of people I hang around with in real life … none of them want to get involved with fringe cases like this. That’s what gives the authorities such an advantage because they can establish themselves as authorities, and normal people are reluctant to question. Well, I’ll be honest, people are afraid to question. We are moving towards Fascism without a doubt and there’s a systematic process in place … any nail that sticks its head up, gets hammered down again … to borrow the Chinese proverb.

Hey Bob, I suggest you think big and try to get a life story interview with Tulsi Gabbard.

Stick with me here … it may not pan out, worst she can do is ignore you completely. However, Tulsi is turning into a key anti-war figure, she’s bold as brass, and any time she is on any of the media outlets the whole thing goes confrontational. Not to say that Tulsi is shy of confrontation, but it isn’t a good format to get a respectful fair hearing.

Your little podcast might not be much, but your laid-back interview style might be helpful for her … and hey it’s worth a shot. If you pull it off, it’s gonna drive a lot of traffic. You know enough to ask probing but sensible questions without being pointlessly confrontational … could produce something historic. A lot of other anti-war sites would link to you.

Thanks for the idea Tel. Sure I’ll try to get a hold of her.

Wow! If that happens, it will be amazing.

There are a lot of names floating around in my head as potential guests of the BMS – Ron Paul (of course!), Bryan Caplan, Glenn Greenwald are just a few. But I never thought of Tulsi Gabbard.

Jordan thank you for what you are doing. If anything is God’s work it is what you have dedicated yourself to.
