This whole Dave Smith story and you guys following him is just appealing to democracy and popularity. The world is not changed by appealing to the masses, but by leading by example. Such a weak lawyer talks that water down anarchistic ideas. You are slaves, act as ones: suffer while you have to, fight where you can. Get back what was stolen from you if you can and then act in the ideal world, decide who to bring in and who not. Why even discussing the less ideal approaches? Like the master will care about what you are saying? He is laughing at you weak people satisfied that he is so much in charge that even libertarians appeal to him. What is the goal, that watered down libertarian position gain popularity so masses can vote you instead of Trump? What a pathetic position, what a weak strategy.
Instead, as you guest said, find people that want the purity, don’t try to convert bunch of sheep, idiot enough to vote Trump. In the moment you start discussing sub-optimal idea you do not sound like wise man, but as a bunch of losers achieving nothing. Worse than nothing, you are destroying the libertarian ideas and you not gaining what you hoped for.
Leading by example means more people taking back what’s their and suffer during that process. This will attract non sheep people to continue with your steps and the sheep will remain sheep. Sheep adapt to whatever new condition there is, so achieve anarchy and masses will follow you. Democracy destroys the souls of people convincing them that everything should be subject to popular opinions. Well, guess what, the progress of humanity was always a bunch of non popular ideas and sheep adapted.
Again, lead by example, do not follow the sheep.
