Help Support the Bob Murphy Show

The Bob Murphy Show is like life in general: the more you give, the more you get. The more support you great folks can provide for me in this venue, the more of my time I can spend on bringing you new material and a higher frequency of episodes.

I appreciate any level of support, but for the occasional listener, might I suggest a one-shot $10 contribution?

For the more hard-core supporters, I have two offers.

=====> If you provide a $100 one-time contribution, OR if you use PayPal to sign up for a recurring $15 monthly contribution, I will give you access to the Top Secret Bob Murphy Show MeWe group. (Shhhhh, keep it under your hat.)

=====> If you provide a $150 one-time contribution, OR if you use PayPal to sign up for a recurring $30 monthly contribution, I’ll give you access to the Top Secret MeWe group, plus I’ll autograph and ship you one of my 6 books featured at this link. (NOTE: If you are in the domestic United States, my offer includes all shipping and handling costs as well. However, if you want me to ship to a foreign destination, I might have to first investigate and ask you to cover the shipping expense.)

Naturally, if you opt for one of these offers, make sure you include your email if you use the PayPal option. If you send me crypto, just make sure you contact me when you do it, so I know how to properly credit you. (Naturally, we’ll gauge the contribution size according to the USD exchange rate at the time of your contribution.)

Thanks for your support, everyone.

Hey Bob, I’d love to send you 50$ donation in form of crypto, but would you consider to accept Dash cryptocurrency?

That’s all. I use these days. It’s number one used crypto used in new hempshire by libertarians.

    • CoinCat on 06/25/2022 at 9:51 AM

Dash has 1) a better reward model for community contributors and 2) a faster payment clearance time than BTC. But is that speed a significant enough value-add over BTC when BTC now offers lightning network? (Serious question.)

Don’t you think that the long term coin of choice is a privacy coin like Monero that can resist the ‘track everything’ empire?

CoinPayments.net enables anyone able to take 40+ cryptos including DASH and BTC and ETH.

But anyone wanting to could donate DASH via changelly.com or shapeshift.io or a range of similar services. Don’t let that your reliance on a sideshow coin like DASH stop you from donating to Bob.

No worries. I’ve managed to do that. Got a signed book out of that too 🙂

All the books listed through the link are larger academic volumes I would prefer in an audio version. Your book I would most like to have in physical form is The Three Lads & The Lizard King. Is it included in the offer?

    • Larry on 06/26/2019 at 10:30 PM

After sending in my donation, I never received a book and never gained entry to the FB group. I wrote about this and received no reply. Very disappointed.

      • Robert Murphy on 06/27/2019 at 10:20 PM

Yikes! Sorry Larry I did not see your note. Putting contributors into the FB group typically happens within 24 hours. I just added you.

I just emailed you for information on the book.

Do we get access to the pacifism debate at either level?

    • Robert Murphy on 09/20/2019 at 9:38 PM

Yes the debate is available to those in the Facebook group.

      • Bill Anderson on 03/23/2022 at 4:44 AM

Hey Bob: I’m trying to avoid Pay Pal….I’d rather send a check….for that I need street address….

  5. Greg Morin on 09/23/2019 at 6:12 PM

Bob would it be possible to have an annual recurring donation option in Paypal in addition to monthly? I prefer to do larger donations annually rather than smaller ones monthly… yes I”m weird 😉

    • Robert Murphy on 09/23/2019 at 7:41 PM

Hi Greg, that’s my kind of weird! (ha ha) I will email you about this.

  6. Matthew Reed on 10/05/2019 at 5:58 AM

Hey Bob, I remember a long while back before the contra cruise that you posted an episode explaining your pacifist views before your debate with Tom Woods, but I’m having a hard time finding it (not the debate but your explanation before the debate) can you direct me to that episode?
    Much appreciated! Love your work.

Also you should have a conversation episode with Thomas Sowell! Just saying!

    • Robert Murphy on 10/05/2019 at 1:12 PM

Thanks, I’ll try to get him… The episode you want is here.

  7. Gregh on 10/12/2019 at 12:49 AM

Hey Bob, I’d like to support annually for a larger amount via Paypal. I’d like benefits you don’t include above; is it possible to discuss what’s possible? 🙂

PS: i already support Michael Malice and Tom Woods with that model

    • Robert Murphy on 10/13/2019 at 7:19 PM

I emailed the address you used for this comment, let me know if you don’t see it.

    Is Venmo an option?

  9. Jarryd Myers on 01/31/2020 at 6:02 PM

My Facebook account is suspended, and given the reputation Facebook has for being anti-libertarian this must be a fairly common problem for your potential supporters. I am curious if you ever considered hosting the supporters group on another service. I know of one podcast the moved from a Facebook group to a Mighty Networks community for example.

    • Robert Murphy on 01/31/2020 at 9:29 PM

That’s a fair point. Right now I don’t think such a move would make sense, but I will revisit that down the road.

There’s a nonzero chance this comment is just annoying and not worth considering, but I would donate if you added Bitcoin Lightning support. I try to avoid on-chain payments. I’ll do $12 a month. But I totally understand if that’s not worth the trouble and am sorry for polluting your page.

Your 5 flip challenge was such a slick no pressure sale I immediately decided to donate no matter the outcome.

Then I saw I had 5 quarters which had been left on my side table out of natural accumulation of change. I decided to flip each five times to find 5 random sets of outcomes.

Tails, tails, tails, tails, tails… 5 tails, all flipped only once.
Just as good as 5 heads. You’ve got a donation headed your way sir.

    • Robert Murphy on 03/06/2020 at 5:45 AM

5 tails? I think I owe *you* money!

    • Fernando on 03/07/2020 at 1:44 AM

Bob, what would be the suggested contribution to have a dedicated topic of the show? Assuming you find it interesting of course.

  12. Paul on 03/26/2020 at 1:07 PM

I got 1 heads, then a tails. Sorry!

Would you even consider using something besides facebook? I abandoned the platform a long time ago, so when you and a notable other promote your facebook group as a benefit for supporting you, I tune out.

    • Paul on 03/28/2020 at 10:01 PM

Also just wanted to suggest maybe taking a look at Dave Rubin’s locals.com, if you haven’t already. You can join his community free of charge at rubinreport.com to see a demo.

I already own 2 out of the 6 books, but would love to read your take on Human Action. Glad to support your important work in a small way.

I’d like to buy Choice, which outlet puts the most cash in your pocket?

    • Robert Murphy on 10/01/2021 at 6:31 PM

I don’t personally benefit (at this point) from sales, so whichever route is most convenient for you, thanks.

      • David Ostler on 10/01/2021 at 10:01 PM

Being the greedy capitalist that I am, I went with the cheapest option, which happened to be store.mises.org by about $3 dollars.

  15. Rob Howard on 03/02/2022 at 9:32 PM

Donated for Bob’s work with Thaddeus Russell.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11296589/PayPal-backtracks-policy-fined-users-misinformation-following-backlash.html

In light of this recent drama with Paypal, I will be closing my account.

I’d like to keep sending recurring $15 contributions. Is there another system that would work for you to keep this going? If not, I’ll plan to just give one $150 contribution for now before I close my account.

    Thanks for all you do!
